I grew up in the Hudson Valley, NY, where a lifelong connection to the outdoors greatly influenced my early desire to pursue art. I later went on to earn my Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts at Denison University. While attending, I lived at the student-run Homestead—an environmentally sustainable living community—which further grounded my interest in the relationships between humans and the natural world.

My practice explores how color and light shape mood and our relationship with the environment. Through saturated landscapes, I create intimate spaces that allure the viewer while holding subtle tension. Drawing from the Hudson River School and Romanticism, I question the masculine history of conquest and control over landscapes and femininity. My goal is to reclaim softness as a feminist gesture, shifting the gaze from dominance toward mutual becoming.
